We just had the kids pictures taken and they turned out really cute. I look at them all and can not believe how fast time goes. It seems like I just had my oldest and now I am looking at seven kids thinking were did the time go. I cherish every seconded I have with them.

Tyler for his birthday went to a BSU football game with Tyson. I sent them on there way looking normal but they did not come back that way. On the way up they stopped and got some hair paint and face paint and the pictures below are the end result. They had so much fun.

My mom has been here and it has been wonderful. She wanted to take some pictures of Sophie and so I got out my camera. I was able to get some cute ones. This little one has been loved by all in the family. I didn't get to many pictures but enjoy the ones I did.

I need to jump a head a little. On Nov 2 at 1:57 p.m we added to our family with the arrival of our little Sophie. She came weighing in at 8 pounds 2 ounces. She is very healthy and is loved by all. It was a wonderful birth that lasted about 2 hours with my midwives there the only time helping. Tyson of course was there right by my side helping. I could never do it with out him.

Tyson and Rachel Time

I just had to add a little note about a hiking trip that Tyson and Rachel went on. In Aug. Tyson asked Rachel and Tyler if they wanted to go on a hike with him. Tyler said no but Rachel said yes and could not wait. I could not believe my little Rachel wanted to go on a hike in the mountains with no bathrooms, dehydrated food, and sleeping on the ground with no tent. I can't tell you the details of the trip because I was not there but after three days and two nights they came back happy and tired. They had a really good time and I think they are now in some ways closer. Here are some pictures they took.

Summer baseball

This last summer Tyson decided to couch Tyler's All-Star baseball team. The thing about Tyson is that he loves to be part of the kids activities. It is great but sure does keep him busy. Scott was also able to be part of the fun by beaning the bat boy. The only problem was sometimes he thought he was suppose to be out playing in the game.

This first picture is of our future baseball player in the making. Scott sure loves to be part of everything he's brother does. Tyler is a good sport and puts up with a sometime overbearing little brother.

In the first tournament of the season poor little Scott was hit in the mouth with a bat. He did not like me taking a picture of him.

Tyson is giving Tyler a trophy. The boys worked really hard and got second in this tournament.

This is the whole team. They were good kids and Tyson really had fun couching them. I think all the boys were sad to see the season end. This mom was glad to see it come to a close.

The Trek

I know that I am going way back in time but I have to try to get caught up with some of the things that happened this summer. The first is of course the trek because it started our summer.

Tyson and I were asked to be a pa and ma for the trek that our stake was going to put on. Of course Tyson said yes. Me I wanted to but was not as quick to say yes. I am so glad that I did.

When June came I was starting to question what I was doing. Now I have to remind you at this point I was four months pregnant and was going to be hiking between 3 to 5 miles a day. Yes there was a little voice in my head saying that you can't do this but then there was another voice saying the Lord will help you be strong.

My testimony was strengthen by going on the trek. I truly felt the power of Heavenly Father through out the whole time. I gained a new love for the pioneers that came across the plains. There was some hardships we had to go through but in the end we made it and each of the kids in our family has a part of my heart.

New bed

Rachel our oldest shares a room with our littlest, Megan. The other night when Rachel was about to fall asleep she felt this little tap on her shoulder and looked up to see Megan on her top bunk bed. I should put in that Megan is still in a crib. We thought that she some how had pulled her self out of her bed into Rachel, which were right by each other. We pulled the beds apart and thought the problem was solved. How ever a few nights later Rachel woke up to find Megan asleep with her on the top bunk. We have decided that Megan is trying to tell us she wants a big girls bed.

Family Time

On Sunday Tyson told everyone to get in the van we were going for a ride. The kids did complain a little because they did not know were we were going. In the end they all were happy.

We went to see the Falls. Right now there is a lot of water so they are cool to look at.

We went to the side that you don't have to pay so we did not get as close but they still were beautiful to look at.

After looking the kids decided to explore and that seemed to be a lot of fun.

Lets Wrestle

The other night Megan our two year old was sitting on the cough with her two brothers. Tyler our older boy told Megan to get Scott, who is four. Megan got off the cough and pulled Scott off the cough by the legs and then wrap her legs around his middle and and her arms around his neck. Scott had a hard time getting away because he was laughing so hard. When he did Megan once again pulled him off the cough and laid on top of him. This went of for several minutes with all watching laughing. Kids sometimes are the best entertainment.

Life is wonderful

We have been going strong this season. Rachel has been in gymnastic this year and was able to preform at a basketball game. It was a lot of fun to see how far she has come. She is missing dance so she is going to do just a little dance on the side. She is growing up so fast and it is fun to have a wonderful daughter to talk to.

Tyler has been practicing with a AAU basketball team and loves it. He is not really part of the team but was asked by his uncle, who is the coach, if he would like to practice with them. Of course Tyler and Tyson were all over that. Tyson loves to go to the practices and help were needed. Tyler is a good little player. He also just had a choir concert at school. Can I just say that we really have a ham on our hands. Tyler keep making faces and doing funny things. At one point I asked Tyson if that boy knows how to hold still. He just laughed and said no.

Nicole right now is taking a break and trying to decide what she wants to do. I want to give her the choice in what she wants. Nicole is having a hard time right now because her best friend moved away. She has lots of other friends so hopefully soon she will be okay.

The rest of our kids are doing great and can not wait until Christmas. Hope all is well for all of our friends and family

Megan where are you?

Megan the other day got in trouble and took off running. I watched her run away and behind the cough. I have to say I did start to laugh because I could tell that she was going as far as she could. When I went to get her I found her under the sheet as if she was trying to hid from me. She does keep me on my toes.

Life is wonderful

We are so busy right now but loving every minute of it. We just got done with soccer and football. Nicole, Ashley and Scott were in soccer. Nicole has really started to shine in this sport and really enjoys playing it. Her team did not do very well but she has learned a lot and tries hard to always play her best.

Ashley and Scott were on the same team. Ashley this year was not scared of the ball. Every game she made a goal and played really hard. Scott looked so small out there but was very determine to keep up with the other kids. He did try to make a few goals and was able to finale make one go in and was very happy.

Tyler was in football and loved to play hard. Tyler one time made the mistake of telling me he liked to hear me cheer him on. Well the next game I really cheered him on and more then a couple of people made comments. I guess I was haveing to much fun yelling and jumping up and down on the sideline. Oh well my son loved it.

Rachel has turned twelve. Boy that makes me fell really old but she has been waiting for this for a very long time. She was able to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead and was glowing with the spirit when she got back. Tyson was able to go with her and had a fun time with her.

Tyler and football

Tyler has been waiting for a very long time to play football. He is the quarterback on his team and does a pretty good job. In the video Tyler is caring the ball. We have had a lot of fun watching him every Saturday. It is always wonderful to watch your children grow and love what they do. Tyler is starting to like school a little more. Right now he is really into reading and reads ever night.

Sad Day

Last week I started to have some problems with the pregnancy. It started on Monday with some spotting. I was not to worried about it because I had done this on other pregnancies. Then Tuesday come and I spotted just a little but that did concern me so I called my midwife. She said that there was not a lot of blood so she put me on bed rest to see if it would clear up.

On Thursday I had an appointment with her. I had been spotting a little every day so was really wanting to see her. At the appointment she could not find cord or heart beat. After about 15 min. of looking she thought she found it but it was really low. Around 81 to 90 beats. She said something was wrong and told me to go straight home and lay flat on my back. Later she called and said she was going to get me in for an ultrasound.

On Friday we went in to a very nice Doctor who worked us in. I think I knew right away that the baby was gone. There was no movement on the screen and the Doctor was not talking. When he did speak he told us that there was no heart beat or blood following through the heart. Our baby was gone.

Tyson and I wanted to have every one together when we told them so the children did not find out until Saturday due to different activities. They all were very sad and upset and asking a lot of questions that Tyson did a beautiful job of answering.

Now the next step was to get this little baby here on my own. I wanted so very much to deliver at home because that was always the plan. My midwife was wonderful and started me on somethings to help my body let the baby come.

Tuesday morning Sept 16 I started to contracted and then every thing started. I called my midwife, Tyson and my mom. Tyson and my mom got there a few minutes apart. I was in the bathroom when I felt the baby come so my mom got the bed ready and Tyson and her helped me to bed and I delivered the baby. My midwife walked in right then and took over. She was great she helped keep every thing under control. When every thing was done it only took about an hour.

I was about 20 weeks along so there was a beautiful little baby with all of its fingers and toes, we could see the month, eyes, ears, everything. We then were able to see that it was a little boy. It was very hard for both me and Tyson. The emotions were very high.

My mom picked up the kids from school and brought them home. They were able to see there little brother and help us put him in a little box that he would be buried in.

Tyson dug a hole in a spot that I wanted and then as a family we had a prayer and went out side.Tyson said another prayer for the grave. Each one of us was able to say goodbye to our little Robert Eugene Cook. It was beautiful and hard. I am so grateful that I know that Heavenly Father knows all and loves each one of us.

Our life

We have been really busy so I will tell a little about all of us. First Tyson has just been released as young mens president and put in as first counselor in the Elders quorum. He loved his calling but he will do a really good job in his new one. Work has keeped him busy. Scott and him always seem to have a new project going. Tyson has agreed to help Tyler's flag football team. Tyson loves to watch the kids play sports.

I am still a primary teacher and it keeps me busy. What keeps me really busy is running the kids to all of there activities. We now have five of the kids doing different things this year and it seems like they fall on different days of the week. I am doing pretty good. I have been sicker longer this pregnancy and feeling like this is the seven time my body has gone through this. I am once again having this baby at home and loving it. I love my family and am so gratefully that we are all well.

Rachel is growing up so fast. This year she is in the middle school and has seven periods. She is just loving school and beening with friends. She has taken a break from dance and is doing other things and feels good about the decision. She will be turning 12 in a few months and can hardly wait for this to happen. She is great.

Tyler. What to say about Tyler. One minute this boy is rolling around on the floor laugh at his poor sisters who he teases with out Mercie and the next giving me hugs and asking what he can do to help me. He is really looking forward to his football season he loves this sport. Tyler is just the opposite of Rachel. He can not stand school and is already counting down the days until summer break.

Nicole is such a tinder soul. She is once again doing art and loving it. She is also doing soccer. This is the one sport that she likes. She also loves school and learning. She has to put in more work then her older sister and brother but is a hard worker and has done well.

Ashley has start school this year and loves every minute. She wakes up in the morning and almost with in minutes she starters to ask when is the bus coming. She feels like now she is a big kid. She is also doing soccer.

Scott is one big kid in a little body. He tries to keep up with his big brother. He loves going to all the games Tyler playes in and playing him self on the side lines with his dad. Scott has really become a good little player by just watching Tyler. This is his first year in any sport and that is soccer. He can hardly wait.

Megan. Oh little Megan. She is loved by all and she knows it. She loves her daddy and he just eats it up. They have a really special bond. Megan also loves her older brothers and siters and them taking her on rides on the 4-wheeler. Right now one her favorite things to do is dance when ever she hears music.

Sorry so long but when you have a big family it can't be helped.

Long Time

Yes it has been a very long time. Our summer has gone by so fast. The kids started school this morning and so now we are into the crazy schedule of school. It has been a fun busy summer but also one of not felling so well. Those that we have not yet told we are have our seven and last baby this January. I have been a lot more sick this time around. I need to post more later but my Ashley is needing me to help her. She is going to kindergarten in the afternoons and can not wait.

Big News

Tyler tried out for the all star baseball team and made it. He is really excited to be doing this. Now for us, the parents, we are not so sure. He will be play in about six tournaments through out the summer in different towns. No we are excited to. He has been playing really well through out the last couple of months. He had his best two games last Friday. His team played a double header and he pitched and did really well but the best plays came when he was playing catcher. He was able to throw out about five runners trying to steal second, one trying to steal third and tag about two coming into home. They were able to win both games. Right now his team is in second place, only one game behind the first place team.

After Tyler's games, that got done at about 9:15, Tyson took Tyler and Scott to a Father and Son sleep over put on by our ward. They had a fun time. The boys love spending time with Tyson and he does a good job of taking them places with him.

Last thing. Tyson has been taking class to get his broker licences. This last week he finished and took the big test. He past. He is not doing anything with it right now but we are really happy that he did so well.

Getting Away.

I was able to get away at the begging of this month. I went up to Wyoming with my mom and dad, Heidi, her daughter Emily and my little Megan. We went up to see the blessing of my brother's first daughter. It was a lot of fun to get away with just me and Megan. Tyson stayed home with the rest of the kids. He did really well. He had to get five kids ready for church, with three of them being girls, and from what I hear he did a really good job. He also had to make meals and this never happens when I am home. I am very gratefully that I have a wonderful husband that would let me leave and take care of the kids. He is great.

Nicole has been taking an art class during the school year and last month she was able to show what she has been doing. Her art teacher has put some her art at different art shows.

This shirt she had a lot of fun making. Her art teacher said that Nicole is one of her best students because she listens and always gets her stuff done.

This picture took a long time for her to finish but when she did she could not wait to bring it home and show her dad. When you work hard and long it is fun to show others what you have done.

What Nicole is pointing to is a whistle that she made out of clay and then it was cooked and she was able to paint it. She just loves to make things.

Ashley played her seconded soccer game on Saturday. Her team won. Ashley loves to play but is very shy when on the field. She usually just runs up and down the field with a big smile on her face. No matter how many times Tyson and I yell for her to kick the ball she just does not do it. This is her first year so maybe next year she will go after the ball.

Nicole on the other hand loves to get right in there. Her team also won. She is very good at soccer and tries very hard to learn more and to get better. She listens to Tyson and her coaches when they tell her what to do. She is a great girl.

Tyler had his first baseball game for the year on Friday. Luckily it was not to cold. They did not win either game but the boys had a lot of fun. Tyler is trying out a new position this year. He has never played catcher but really wants to. We will have to wait and see if he really likes it. He will most likely still pitch because he is one of the better pitchers. Tyson and I love to watch Tyler as he plays the different sports. Scott his younger brother loves to watch him to. Scott always brings his ball and bat so he can play like his big brother Tyler.

Rachel and I went down to Salt Lake for a dance comp. These are the different costumes that she wears. We had a lot of fun. We got to walk around the mall and do a little shopping. It was really fun to have some time to just hang out. While we were down there we got to see grandpa and grandma Cook. Thanks guys for letting us hang out.

Yesterday we had a easter party with some of the Bingham cousins. We went over to grandma's house and went looking for eggs. The kids had a lot of fun hanging out and then getting a lot of candy and toys at the end. After we finished there we went swimming. The kids had so much fun. Angela and her girls were here. It is always fun to have her here as our kids get along so well.

Getting Started

My oldest, Rachel, just started skiing this year. Tyson took her and they had a great time. Rachel spiked Megan's hair and Ashley helped hold her down. They love taking pictures
